BlueCross65 Medicare Supplement plans help fill the gaps left by Original Medicare. All plan benefits (d) are standardized.

Medicare Part A pays:

• Inpatient hospital care
• Skilled nursing facility care
• Hospice care
• Certain home health benefits

Medicare Part B pays: 

• Doctors' fees
• Outpatient hospital care
• Some other medical services that Part A does not cover, for example, certain home health care

Basic Benefits included in all BlueCross65 Plans: 

• Medicare Part A coinsurance (d)
• The cost of 365 extra days of hospital coverage during your lifetime after Medicare hospital benefits end
• Medicare Part B coinsurance based on Medicare-allowed amount (d)
• The first three pints of blood each year
